This unique and elegant corded Standard Poodle named Joel ,I was beyond fortunate to have this opportunity to sculpted him into one of the most important piece of my dog sculptures, commissioned by his beloved breeder&owner Christine M. Scruggs.

Joel has accomplished so many firsts for a corded standard poodle ,he is the first Bronze, Silver and Gold corded Grand Champion poodleis , a RBIS and SBOV winner as well as multiple group winning and group placing . Westminster Kennel Club Award of Merit and PCA National Specialty Award of Merit winner are the most highlights rewards during his show career. Along the way he has also completed several titles in Agility and FastCAT.  Joel is beyond sweet and gentle and is a friend to all, an amazing ambassador for his breed.  

The most challenging part while sculpting is the beautiful and well organized dreadlocks, after I spend hours and hours to "Conditioning" those cords , I imagine how hard work that his handler Amanda Shea and assistant Maddy Martin been dealing with the real coat to make him always looks perfection.
